MercySeed is a Christian based non-profit charitable mercy work. It is run solely through donations from well-wishers, organizations and friends who care.

MercySeed was founded by Ps Shirley Khoo, who is pastoring Harvest Community Church. Prior to that, she and her team used to visits old folks at Golden Home for more than 3 years. In 2005, the team started to go to streets once a month to feed and care for the homeless and the destitute in the inner city of Penang. Hence, the work of MercySeed started. Today, our work also includes visiting the old folks’ Homes and Orphange – meeting their needs and bringing joy and smiles into their lives.
